Great show. I can't wait until next season is out.

Sometimes I like to explore the old world - you know, castles, historical sites, museums, and even very old cities.

Frustration and being Mixed Up

Sometimes I get a little mixed up, and sometimes frustration abounds.

Those are the themes of two new Mystery puzzles.

On the news front, I made some significant progress on the upcoming 500 all new puzzles CD-ROM, and expect to have it available in plenty of time for Christmas.

Uyla nude and an observation

Well, FixPlanetEarth.com is off to a fair start. Finally got rid of some of those pesky blog spammers that seem to invade everything. After one idiot posted links to his fake pills site a dozen times, I tracked down his ISP, and after they looked at his posts, they canceled his accounts, and deleted his websites. Granted, it will only take a day for him to set up somewhere else, but it did cost him some money and put him on warning. Since no more versions of the same website have cropped up on the discussion board, I assume he decided to go play somewhere else.

Anyway, now that I have rambled on long enough to work out some of my frustrations, I present to you two new puzzles.

The Mystery Puzzle has the clue "observations" in that "observations" is what happens here. Good luck.

Playful Uyla shows us how to relax and have fun at the same time. It's easy to see that her favorite color is red. I found her smile to be quite charming.
Oh, to make it a little more challenging, the pieces rotate. And you can't preview the picture, but you can see it once you have completed the puzzle.

Update added 8/28/2007 - I decided to check out this Squidoo thing, and created a lens just for Jigsaw Puzzle lovers. Granted, it's crude, and has a way to go, but if you'll visit it at http://www.squidoo.com/freejigsawpuzzles/ You'll see a link to the start of my Secret Squidoo Jigsaw Puzzles.

One of our two pet rats died this week. My wife was very sad. Amy was a good pet.
Yah, I know, it has nothing to do with puzzles, but it did make me stop and think about things.
I didn't spend much time with her; I was always too busy earning a living.
It did remind me that we all seem to spend too much time on the things that do not matter, and not enough on those that really do matter.
Like taking the time to enjoy something beautiful, or something that makes you smile.
Adel, the young lady who graces us with a nude puzzle this week, does both.
Our Mystery puzzle, like Adel, also makes us smile.

Alexandra enjoys the water

Ahh, the warm weather lately has been refreshing. Kind of makes you want to go down to the creek and take a dip to cool off. Which is exactly what I enjoyed doing in my youth.

Happy Daylight Savings Time Snafu!

Well, I'm waiting up just to see if my computer successfully makes the change when the early-bird Daylight Savings Time change hits, in about three hours.
For those overseas, the USA, in an effort to conserve energy, changed the start of Daylight Savings Time three weeks early. All computers, cell phones, etc. have to be reprogrammed so they know when DST goes into effect. Some people predict that nothing bad at all will happen, other predict that computers will crash everywhere. Me? I predict I'll waste a few hours staying up late for nothing.
If you decided to stay up late too, here's something for you to do while your computer slowly melts down:

Sailing and life as a bug

After an absence of a few weeks, I'm back.
This time lovely Saacha is ready to take us sailing. All I can say, is that I never got to go on a sea voyage with as lovely of a companion as this when I was in the Navy. (Note: Yes, this is another beautiful nude jigsaw puzzle.)

Anya - a beautiful nude puzzle

Sorry it's been so long since I posted a puzzle. Other projects have kept me busy.
The good news is that I will have some surprises here in a few weeks.

I've had a thing about redheads since I was a young boy first learning about girls. The girl next door was named Simone. We played together as kids, however we went different directions before we got old enough to date.

Then there was Wendy Sue. Red hair a couple shades darker than a stawberry blonde. Petite, bouncy, full of energy, and at 17 she could put me in heaven with just a look.

At 19 there was Betsy. Calm, logical, dark red hair, and smart as anyone I had ever known. And a fantastic kisser. I was sad when we broke up.

Dang it! It's a mystery to me why I forgot to put in the latest Mystery Puzzle.
Guess I'm getting old, in my old age. You'd think Agatha Christie was writing my brain. Sheesh.

Olga - a Pretty Nude Jigsaw Puzzle

The closest I've ever been to Russia was when my Navy ship 'accidentally' got within a mile of the coast due to a 'naviagtion error' back in the early 1980's. We just 'happened' to have a bunch of weird guys with cameras on board.
After seeing this Russian beauty named Olga, I think I have an idea of what they were taking pictures of.

Anyway, our new nude features a beautiful young redhead named Dasha.
She reminds me of another young redhead I knew, many, many years ago. Rebecca was her name. She moved with a grace seldom seen today, and while she knew her mind and was strong-willed, she always treated everyone with respect and dignity. She was also a fantastic kisser...

One person wrote to ask if my last entry, about the day on the lake, was true or not. It's true, and it's one day I will remember always.
It reminds me of another young lady, who let me photograph her nude at sunrise on the beach at Lake Chautauqua, many years ago. There was a large tree, and as the sun came up we were suddenly surrounded by hundreds of bats returning home to roost for the day. Before then, I always thought that bats slept in caves.
The bats didn't touch us, but it was an amazing sight to see her standing nude in the midst of a cloud of bats. I just wish I had the presence of mind to have taken a photo.
Anyway...

Many years ago, on a hot summer day, I was out hiking alone (back when it was safe to do so) and decided to go for a swim. I thought I was alone at a small lake. After a while, I spotted a young lady about twenty years old in the water at the other end. I didn't see her arrive, but there she was. She gently smiled and nodded at me, and we continued swimming at our own ends of the lake, respecting each other's privacy.
As I was about to get out of the water, I glanced back at her, to see that she was swimming on her back. She was also quite nude, and totally unconcerned that a stranger could see her. I just sat there in the shallow water, enjoying the sight. She seemed perfectly at ease with herself, and looked like the natural thing of beauty she was.
She finally walked out of the water, tucked her clothes under her arm, and as she walked off she threw a quick smile over her shoulder at me, as if to say, 'Thank you for a lovely day.'
We never spoke to each other, and I never saw her again, but whenever I go hiking, I can't help but think about her and that wonderful summer day.

Mystery puzzle number 3

Rant time:
Ok, just to clarify something about the puzzles: They are designed to run on Windows - XP, 2K, & 98. They may run on 95 but I don't have first-hand experience with that.
Yes, I agree that Linux is in many ways superior to Windows, however the plain truth is that 95% of the people who play games on computers do so while running Windows. I like to share my puzzles with as many people as I can, so naturally I create them to run on the platform the vast majority uses.
It just makes sense to do this. To borrow an analogy, how far would you get if you made cars that only ran on 5% of the roads in this country?
With computers becoming so cheap as to be almost disposable, more and more people own multiple computers as well as game consoles.
So rather than expect all the people who create things for the computer to double their work to accommodate an extra 5% who may or may not ever see what they have created, why not simply buy an extra computer if you want to play what the other 95% of the world plays?
That said, I have received lots of feedback on the Mystery puzzles and especially the nudes. Only one person has complained about me posting nudes. Something about me burning in he** for trying to inflict porn on innocent children. I just don't get some people. I plainly stated the puzzles are artistic in nature, not porno. Ever see some idiot condem a book they never bothered to actually read? Same thing.
On the plus side, the puzzles, both the mystery and the nudes, have already been downloaded over a thousand times... Each...
Along with a bunch of requests for more, more, MORE! Especially the nudes.
So I have decided to develop a website dedicated to nude jigsaw puzzles.
I'll post it here when the site is ready to launch.

Sometimes you feel the need to relax doing something different, after a long hard day of work in 90+ degree weather. But since Angelina Jolie is busy this weekend and she probably doesn't even play golf anyway, I decided to create some more puzzles.
Since it seems the artistic nude puzzle is a hit (judging by the e-mails I received,) I posted another one.
And, since I always believe in giving something for everyone, here is another mystery puzzle, taken from an unusual picture. The clue for this one is 'Hamburger.'

Mystery Puzzles!
Occasionally I'll post a puzzle here that is not available anywhere else, just because! Sometimes you can see a preview, sometimes you can't. They could be easy, or amazingly hard. Sometimes I may even run a contest or two. Even a puzzle of an artistic (Gasp!) nude! (Sorry, no dirty pics, only artistic nudes.) Yes, I will tell you when the mystery puzzle is a nude.
